Welcome to synchromode news!

We are thrilled to bring you the latest updates and milestones of SYNCHROMODE, a pioneering research project dedicated to revolutionizing multimodal traffic management through innovative, data-driven solutions. Here’s a look at our recent achievements and events.

Project Highlights

Representation at Key Events:

Autonomy Mobility World Expo: In March, our team attended the Autonomy Mobility World Expo in Paris, France. This event was a hub for innovation in mobility solutions, where we networked with industry leaders and explored new avenues for collaboration. Our participation underscored SYNCHROMODE’s commitment to integrating state-of-the-art technologies into multimodal traffic management. Jillis Mani, senior adviser of Smart Mobility, spoke on behalf of the Province of South Holland, one of the Case Study areas of SYNCHROMODE.

Connecting Europe Days: In April, SYNCHROMODE was proudly represented at Connecting Europe Days in Brussels. This event provided a significant platform for showcasing our project’s progress and engaging with key stakeholders in the European transport sector. Our team presented the SYNCHROMODE project, highlighting its potential to provide transformative solutions for multimodal traffic management across Europe.

TRA2024: Additionally, April saw SYNCHROMODE at the Transport Research Arena (TRA2024) in Dublin, Ireland. As one of the premier conferences in transport research, TRA2024 offered us an invaluable opportunity to discuss the latest advancements in multimodal traffic management and present our project’s cutting-edge solutions to a global audience.

Mubil Mobility Expo: April was a busy month for SYNCHROMODE, as our team was also represented by the University of Deusto at the Mubil Mobility Expo, at Ficoba, Basque Country. This event is the professional meeting point in Southern Europe for the value chain of sustainable mobility understood as clean, accessible, safe, and connected. A space where the main public and private entities come together and where challenges of sustainable mobility find their industrial and digital solutions.

General Assembly in The Hague

Furthermore, in April, the SYNCHROMODE project held its second General Assembly in The Hague, Netherlands. This pivotal meeting brought together all project partners to review our progress, discuss the upcoming milestones and steps, as well as to align altogether and strategize for the future. The General Assembly was a testament to our collaborative spirit and the shared vision driving our project forward.

Formation of the Multimodal Traffic Management (MTM) Cluster

One of the most significant developments in recent months is the establishment of the Multimodal Traffic Management Cluster. SYNCHROMODE has joined forces with sister projects ACUMEN and DELPHI, in conjunction with the original 4FRONT cluster of traffic management projects funded by Horizon Europe. The MTM Cluster aims to foster innovation and knowledge sharing, positioning us at the forefront of the European Union’s multimodal network and traffic management strategies. By working together, we are set to address the challenges of multimodal transportation and pave the way for a more connected and resilient mobility future. More details on the participation of SYNCHROMODE in the MTM Cluster can be found here.

Looking Ahead:

As we move forward, SYNCHROMODE remains dedicated to advancing its mission of enhancing multimodal traffic management through innovative, data-driven approaches. Stay tuned for more updates on our progress and upcoming events.
